April 28-29, 1961

An amendment was made to the constitution so that the office of president and Vice-president were elected for one year.  The vice-president is to be elevated to president the following year.

According to the constitution the state was divided into four sections – Northeast, Southeast, Denver and West.

“This convention is the first one with activities planned for members’ wives.  Activities will keep the ‘little woman’ out of your hair but she will also have time to join you in the convention activities in which she is interested.

Membership dues to Colorado Industrial Arts Association is $2.00

1970

Proposed change in the constitution to expand secretary-treasurer to secretary and treasurer.  Office of secretary shall be for two years with the election being held during even numbered years.  Office of treasurer shall be for two years with the election being held during odd years
